Today we pit the Mahindra E2O against not only the Tata Nano but also some of the best subcompact (small cars) of the world like Swift, Alto, WagonR, i10, and Santro. Of course the only other car that is better is the miniCooper but then consider also its cost... which is not small in anyway.
Monsoon 2020 update
Again it's been a while since my last update. I'm hardly driving much these days as i work from home and with the pandemic, social occasions and physical meetings too have disappeared. As of September 19th, EVA has clocked 54,500 km. I thought i will give another update on how we could solve some battery cell issues that were encountered.
I also share some photos from a recent day trip i did. I also did some low SOC testing to check battery cell health.
EVA still performs brilliantly and its just an amazing car considering i have completed 7 years :)

I don’t want to lie but the present situation of Electric Bikes in India is not very electrifying. They are caught between the Devil and the Deep Sea. Presently most of the “Electric Bikes” in the market are low speed 25Kms “mobility bikes” and 45 Kmph bikes that will get you from place to place. 25 Kmph is almost the speed of a Cycle when you are cycling at good speed.
Bikes are supposed to be Power Objects, Bikes are supposed to be Mean, Masculine, tyres huger than biceps… sex objects supposed to attract the opposite sex. People own it to portray sexiness. Heck even girls ride power bikes for that macho feel.... kind of to do the forbidden.
But the present trend of e-bikes in India is anything but that.
