Ather Energy launches the largest electric vehicle charging network in an Indian city

Ather Energy today announced the launch of their charging infrastructure for electric vehicles (EVs), AtherGrid, which is open to all EVs.
The company, known for their intelligent, electric scooter S340, has begun installations of the intelligent and connected charging stations across the city of Bangalore.

The Committee on standardisation of protocol for Electric Vehicles (EV) Charging Infrastructure has come out with recommendations entailing specifications for AC and DC charging for electric vehicles. These standards are called - Bharat EV Charger AC-001 and Bharat EV Charger DC-001.

Electric Vehicles can take you places! Quite literally!

In the last one month I have received requests to connect with numerous EV enthusiasts and it only builds my assurance how promising the EV industry is in India. Where there is demand, there is sure to be supply! With current product portfolio available in India - across cars/vans and buses EV's are limited to city commute, however they have a potential to transform intercity commute as well.
