Kamlesh Mallick
Noting the lack of discourse on electric vehicles in petrol/diesel/CNG-and-mileage-obsessed India, Kamlesh started PluginIndia back in 2013 to help spread awareness of electric vehicles and clean transport. Kamlesh engages with the Indian EV industry and connects them the community. His other roles at PluginIndia include managing the Youtube channel, test vehicles and create test reports. Kamlesh owned the Mahindra e2o electric car for 8 years before selling it in 2021. He purchased an electric scooter - The OLA S1 in 2022 and is loving it. Kamlesh is based out of Pune, India. Vivek Ahuja
Vivek has 30 years of experience in the IT Industry in various global roles like IT Operations, Technology Management, Information Security, Technology Infrastructure, Solution Architect, Vendor Management, Contact Center Operations and IT Service Delivery. Vivek is based out of Delhi and since 2015 has been following the Indian EV scene very closely along with PlugInIndia team. Having driven e2o & Reva, he is an early adopter of Tata Nexon EV for over 3 years and has also got a TiagoEV recently. He needs no introduction to the NexonEV owners community in India as he runs their online communities via the NexonEV Owners Club. Amit Arya Amit was a die heart turbo diesel fan. Thanks to NGT rules for NCR tasted the EV in early 2020 while looking for replacement of his 9 years old ICE and fell in love with it and since then there is no looking back. He has done multiple long trips (Delhi-Mumbai, Delhi-Dharamshala-Bir etc) with his EV and also supports managing multiple WhatsApp and Telegram communities. Abhishek is an entrepreneur based out of Pune. He is the owner of Deeva Solar. He installs solar power systems to clients in west India. Abhishek has been using Okinawa scooters since 2018. He recently purchased a 8 year old Mahindra e2o electric car. Abhishek works on electric scooter reviews. He also works on testing electric cars. Sia Mane
Sia is the daughter of Abhishek Mane and Rushila Mane. She joined PluginIndia back in 2019. She helps the team with fun VLOGS and B-Roll shots using our GoPro. She also appears in some videos on the channel and adds tons of color and fun! She was part of the 'The BEST Nexon EV MAX Features' video which was received well. She loves EV's and her first vehicle will be a colorful electric scooter! |
Sharyu Sadalge
Sharyu Sadalge has a 10+ working experience in IT. After being based abroad for 10 years, she moved back to India in 2021 and is currently working in the EV charging infrastructure industry as a PR professional. She got associated with Plugin India for the past 2 years where she has been hosting review videos and interviewing EV enthusiasts. Being passionate about her love for nature, she enjoys riding her pure EV scooter to work and take the family MG ZS EV out for a spin over the weekends! |

Atul Gopal is an Teachapreneuer, passionate about education and green living. Ashish Gupta worked with at PluginIndia as a video editor from 2018 to mid 2019. He greatly enhanced PlugInIndia's videos and gave creative inputs to the channel and the team. He had worked on a YouTube video showing a Mahindra e2o making a 100+ km trip around Mumbai. Ashish works with Hotel Accord, Mumbai, and is a graduate of hospitality from Manipal University. Kedar Soman
Kedar Soman joined PluginIndia back in 2017. Kedar hopes that PluginIndia and the EV community can influence EV policies, and he attended many EV summits and workshops all over India. Kedar currently works for eBikeGo a startup revolutionising EV rentals. Sonendra Singh
SONENDRA SINGH has interest in EV, solar power systems and IOT. Presently, he is working in Electric Automotive industry. He has hands-on experience in electric vehicle development. He modified his Electric scooty, which was a VRLA battery based, replaced everything (Battery, controller, motor) to enhance the performance. Soumya Prasad teaches ecology and bio-statistics at the Jawaharlal Nehru University. Her research has focused on seed dispersal in changing landscapes. She is passionate about raising awareness about electric vehicles and solid waste management. She spends her spare time fermenting various grains and fruits, and travelling to find quiet spots to unwind.
