CRISIL has published an interesting report regarding the EV market in India. It has been estimated that electric three-wheelers and two-wheelers would be ruling the streets for the upcoming five years while the electric four-wheeler space would remain lifeless.

Recently only a team of scientists from Korea had discovered ways to improve the overall range of EV vehicles. They have invented technologies using silicon anode material that nearly multiplies the battery capacity by four times as compared to traditional graphite anode material.

Kochi (Kerala) got introduced to e-rickshaws the last year and the response from both the drivers and the customers were over the roof. This had resulted in the formation of a new agreement between the Auto Driver’s Union and two manufacturers to get 250 more e-rickshaws to run across the city within a span of a few months.
