The PluginIndia team got an opportunity to visit a unique startup in the EV space - Cellestial E-Mobility based out of Bengaluru. We actually interviewed the founder Mr Syed last year. So this was a visit to finally meet the team and see the tractor in action.

He also spoke about the imminent launch of the eKUV Compact SUV and Atom last mile electric mobility solution.

Foreseeing the potential of EV the market in India, Hyderabad based ETO Motors, electric mobility as a service company is gearing up to ramp up their portfolio with a four-wheeler cargo carrier.
Cellestial E-Mobility, a Hyderabad based startup has rolled out its first prototype electric tractor. This tractor is economical to operate, as powerful as a diesel tractor,
while consuming less energy. With features like with features like battery swapping, regenerative braking, AC charging, battery that can act as a UPS, this product will be very beneficial to the agriculture industry. The best part the electric tractor will be cheaper than equivalent diesel tractors.
We spoke to Mr Syed Mubasheer , founder of Cellestial E-Mobility and asked him some questions on this very interesting product.

Affordable Electric Vans are important to enable small businesses move cargo across the city or for small distances. The Diesel cargo vans used by small businesses nowadays are noisy, emit PM 2.5 pollution and should be electrified ASAP to reduce emissions and reduce our use of imported oil. So we reached out to Kinetic Green, makers of electric cargo vans, asking them to show us their product which could benefit small businesses. They showed us the Kinetic Green, Safar Shakti Star, which we took on a spin.

The PluginIndia team felt the full blast of the Indian EV transformation during our recent trip to Delhi/NCR, which is the region where we observe huge investment in the EV space and maximum disruption caused by electric vehicles.
We saw electric Rickshaws everywhere, including from organized players like Smart-E. We travelled across NCR in an electric taxi by a startup called Blu Smart. We then were invited by the Hyundai team for the launch of first All-Electric SUV in India - The Hyundai Kona.
We then also visited a user who has installed a 5 kW solar power system at his home and charges his electric car using Solar!
We showcased the electric van, Mahindra’s e-Supro, a few months ago on our YouTube channel. Many of you liked the concept of an electric van, but many others were wary about the high price.
