By Team PluginIndia
The PureEV ePluto7G has gone through some incredible updates which has made riding it a much more pleasurable experience. Not only have they updated the look and feel and improved the fit and finish, they have also worked on the controller, battery pack and boot space.
We have been testing the upgraded ePluto7G for few weeks and found major improvements compared to the pre-production model.
In this article/video, we will share the 7 awesome updates to the PureEV ePluto 7G.
Video : PURE EV ePluto7G Electric Scooter : 7 Updates

Improved Suspension & Stability
The PureEV team has worked on suspension on the new ePluto 7G. The suspension is way softer compared to the pre-production model. The team has slightly changed the chassis design which improves the overall stability while riding. They have also added extra mass at the handle bars, which looked bulkier than before. That ensured that vibrations in uneven roads are reduced.

Seat Design is Improved
The seat design is improved. The front part is raised a bit as u have more upright seating position. And seat is more broader which makes it comfortable for the pillion rider.
Improved Boot Space and Smaller Charger
The ePluto 7g has a larger boot space. There is space at front and back of the battery. You can have a small bag and charger itself can be placed in the boot.
This gives u an added level of security, because you will have the charger with you. Even if the scooter runs out of charge, you can always plug it into a 5 Amp socket and charge again.

Improved Center Stand
The position of the centre stand has been changed bit. It's been made a little bit lower so that you need to pull the scooter less and its closer to centre of gravity.
This makes it very easy to put it on the main stand.

Improved LCD Display
The LCD display has been slightly upgraded. The SOC indictors now has 6 bars compared to earlier 4 bars. This helps you get a better estimate of the amount of charge remaining in the battery.
Also when u change the mode of operation of the scooter, using the physical buttons, the mode is also seen as changed in the LCD display. This was not the case earlier.

Improved Controller & Range
The controller is completely modified to next-generation technology (It is a 18 Tube Controller) and PureEV team has added aluminium heat sink under Controller.
Aluminium casing on the side was used to to dissipate heat and also the connector quality is improved.
The range is further optimised by 2% to 4% because of controller optimisations. We can easily get 90+ km in mode 2.

Braking is way Better
The range is further optimised by 2% to 4% because of controller optimisations. We can easily get 90+ km in mode 2.

Final Words
We like how the PureEV team is continuously improving the ePluto7G. The main reason is because they have invested in a competent RnD team based out of IIT-H and we can see the affects.
We are sure to see more to come from this team.

I happen to discover one improvement in the underseat storage space of the ePluto 7g. The battery housing has been smartly changed to tilted at a 30 degree angle allowing the battery to go more deeper and sits flush now with space for a small helmet / charger in the under seat storage. This is a welcome change.
