The RE:LIVE 2017 electric vehicle rally will be organized by PluginIndia and enthusiastic members of the Electric Vehicle (EV) community on January 6th, 7th and 8th.
The EV community in Mumbai, Pune and Ahmednagar have finished working to setup community charge points on the route towards Nashik.
These community points will be made available to the EV community long after the rally is done!

The Rally for EcoLogical Initiatives to Vitalize the Environment (RE:LIVE) is an annual celebration of electric vehicles in the Pune and Mumbai areas.
The goal is to share the experience of electric vehicle owners and convey information about the many reasons to adopt electric vehicles to consumers, policymakers, the media, and the general public.

The goal is to share the experience of electric vehicle owners and convey information about the many reasons to adopt electric vehicles to consumers, policymakers, the media, and the general public.

The objective of the 2017 EV rally is to raise awareness on electric vehciles and to set up community charge points along 3 different routes:
- Mumbai - Nashik
- Pune - Nashik
- AhmedNagar - Nashik.
Goals
- To spread awareness about electric vehicles and showcase the concept of electric mobility.
- To create community charge points and electricfy routes.
- To prove that with a good EV charging network, it is possible to take the EVs out of the city.
- To test the endurance and efficiency of the existing electric vehicles.
- To have loads of fun on the way.
The Route
Mumbai - Nashik
Electric cars will reach Nashik via NH 160 from Thane to Nashik, via the beautiful hill station of Igatpuri.
Community charge points are installed at the following spots.
Pune-Nashik
Electric Cars and e-bikes will reach Nashik via Pune-Nashik highway.
Community charge points are installed at the following spots.
Ahmednagar-Nashik
Electric cars from Ahmednagar will reach Nashik via the holy town of Shirdi
Community charge points are installed at the following spots.

RE.LIVE is a collaborative effort by likeminded people who believe in the concept of electric mobility. All these people are bound by a common thread – they drive a private electric vehicle regularly. Currently, this initiative is voluntary and involves a small group of individuals who drive an electric car. The aim of this group of people is to create awareness about electric mobility within society, make people realise the importance emission-free transportation, and, in the process, help clean up the ever-increasing pollution in our cities. We attempt to persuade society to think about the legacy we want to leave behind for future generations and to imagine life in an era of cleaner, emission-free environments.
This is why we have chosen the name ‘RE.LIVE’, which stands for Rally for EcoLogical Initiatives to Vitalize the Environment.
These events include electric vehicle rallies, demonstrations, intracity rides, rides outside cities, and visits to clean energy communities.
