Further to announcing the start of deliveries of the Ather 450X in November 2020, Ather Energy has begun to setting up their fast charging public network - The Ather Grid, across Ahmedabad, Pune and Hyderabad.
Installations of the charging points have already begun across key hotspots in each city. Part of Phase 1, about 5-10 fast charging points will be installed before delivery of the Ather 450X begins this Diwali. Ather Energy will continue to partner with similar progressive hosts including cafés, restaurants, tech parks, malls, and gyms which can offer EV owners’ easy accessibility, curb range anxiety, and ease the adoption of electric vehicles in Pune, Ahmedabad and Hyderabad.
Pune, Ahmedabad and Hyderabad are among the first few cities after Bengaluru and Chennai to have Ather Energy’s fast charging public network. Ather Grid points can be used by all electric two-wheelers and electric four-wheelers and this facility is being offered free of charge to everyone in 2020. Installation of Ather Grid will be followed by Delhi, Mumbai, Kochi, Kolkata, Kozhikode and Coimbatore.

With the installation of the charging network, Ather Energy officially makes its foray into the Pune, Ahmedabad and Hyderabad markets. Following Ather Grid, these cities will have an experience centre - Ather Space soon. In the meantime, consumers can purchase the Ather 450X via the website and deliveries will begin in November 2020.
The charging network is supported by the Ather Grid app which allows all EV owners to locate and check the availability of the nearest charging stations in real-time. Ather Energy in its accelerated expansion phase targets to set-up 150 charging points across the country by March 2021.

We have already signed up with multiple partners and will continue to do so in the years to come."

We are very excited to see Ather expand into other cities at last! And we are very happy to see awesome businesses supporting EV Infrastructure. We also like the fact that Ather Grid charge points can be used by all Electric Vehicles. Open charge points supporting all EV's is extremely important and Ather has delivered.
Also all electric scooter enthusiasts in Pune, Ahmedabad and Hyderabad can enjoy the Ather Experience Center in few months time.
