Tata Motors announced that it has bagged a prestigious order of 1500 electric buses from Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) under the larger tender by Convergence Energy Services Limited. Tata Motors will supply, operate and maintain air-conditioned, low-floor, 12-metre fully built electric buses for 12 years, as per the contract.
The company will put in fresh investments of ₹3,000 crore on its electric vehicles business in the next three years and has ambitions to sell 5 lakh EV's by 2025

Sonalika Tractors on Wednesday launched India's first field-ready electric tractor 'Tiger'. The electric tractor priced at Rs 5.99 lakh (ex-showroom) and they have started accepting bookings for its electric tractor.
