Earth Energy launches electric scooter and electric motorcycles

Earth Energy EV, a Mumbai based startup has unveiled, a smart electric scooter called Glyde and two new electric motorcycles - Evolve R and Evolve X with prices starting at Rs 92,000. 

The Earth Energy two wheelers have the following features

• The Evolve R is the high performance motorcycle with a top speed of 110 kmph and costs Rs 1,42,000.
• The Evolve Z achieves a top speed of around 95 kmph and costs Rs 1,30,000 
• The Glyde+ electric scooter has a top speed of 60 kmph and costs 92,000.
• All three of them have a range of around 100 kms in eco mode i.e. 40 kmph.
• All the three two wheelers are equipped with 5 inch TFT screens and have features like smartphone connectivity , real time range and turn about time navigation.
• They can be charged to full in 2.5 hours using the proprietary charger and can also be fast charged from 0 to 80% in about 40 mins.
  
  

The company has already associated with 7 dealerships in Mumbai and plans to increase the amount of dealerships to 45 by the end of 2021.

Rushi Shenghani, CEO and founder, Earth Energy EV said, "We are thrilled to announce the launch of our first range of electric two-wheelers. The EV industry in India is emerging on account of various factors such as the growing awareness towards the environment, increasing petrol prices, and stringent emission norms. We feel that the consumption of electric vehicles will go up now than ever.”

Glyde+ electric will be available in showrooms by end-February, the Evolve Z and Evolve R models will be available by March-end. Online booking are available for Rs 1,000 and the vehicles will be delivered by dealers to the customer’s place.​

So we visited Earth Energy who are based out of Virar, Mumbai few years back and we did see lots of prototypes of their electric motorcycles and lots of work being done on electronic components, battery packs etc. So it's very good to see them finally launch their EV's especially in a city like Mumbai with its extremely large number of ICE two wheelers.
Unfortunately. their website has practically no information on these models. We would request the team to at-least have some photos and specifications on your website especially if you go to the media and unveil your models. 
We will be getting to check out these two wheelers in the month of March. We at PluginIndia are happy for the startup and wish good luck to Earth Energy.
