The scooters are made by HOP Electric Mobility and priced at ₹72,500 for the Leo and ₹ 65,500 for the Lyf, both the scooters boast a range of 125kms.
HOP electric launched two e-scooters on Tuesday called the Leo and Lyf. The company plans to launch five vehicles in the future including an e-bike. The company said it is also looking to set up charging stations, starting from Jaipur and further expanding them to other parts of the country.
Currently, HOP has three market-ready vehicles, two e-scooters and one e-motorcycle and plans to launch more in the future. The specs or the Leo and Lyf are -
Along with the vehicles HOP is planning to setup Battery swapping stations which will be able to replace their discharged battery with a fully charged battery in just 30 seconds. Hop's energy network started taking up the shape as the testing continued. In January 2021, Hop's pilot network with five swapping stations and 50 batteries started operation in Jaipur. "Since most millennials and now Gen Z individuals are now preferring sustainable and convenient modes of transportation, these new product offerings will revolutionise the Indian e-mobility space.
