PluginIndia's Take
So looks like this is a slow week, as we are talking about a company hiring people and looking for property! But when it comes to Tesla, every morsel of news feels big.
We wonder why that is?
The PluginIndia team was very excited, when we saw the name of Mr Manuj Khurana leading the Tesla India team. We knew Mr Manuj since 2018, from his days at Invest India group of the Ministry of Commerce & Industry. Mr Manuj has been working on electric mobility for many years and Tesla India seems to be in capable hands.
We hope to get updates from Mr Manuj and Tesla India soon and hopefully we can feature them in our channel.
Also it looks like the big 3 cities - Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru will have Tesla first. As we discussed with the Tesla Club of India folks, it looks like a Tesla Model 3 standard edition would cost more than Rs 50 lakh.
