PluginIndia's Take
So Triton Electric. Who are they?
Triton Electric is a New Jersey,USA registered company. If we look at their website, they have computer aided design(CAD) drawings of all kinds of EV's - A sedan, an electric SUV, a Semi truck, a rickshaw and defense electric vehicles.
Wait! CAD drawings and no real photos or specifications or videos of their vehicles. Nope.
Now this concerns us because we are not sure about the company's ability to manufacture vehicles and here we see that there are discussions going on with a chief minister of India. If the government does not do due diligence and offers investment opportunity to companies with no credibility and track record of making EV's, we will loose in the long run. We emailed the company and got no response as of April 2021.
