Day 3 and 4 of our Chalo Chilli tour was very hectic but very exciting!
We visited DLF Mall of India at Noida to check out the work CleanMotion is doing. We met some amazing people at URV enterprises who are going to launch disruptive EV products soon. We then met the EV community and members of EV industry in an event organised by us. We thank Mahindra Electric, Hero Electric and Okinawa for showcasing the e2o Plus, Hero Electric Optima Li-Ion and Okinawa Ridge e-Scooter.

Day 3 - Visiting CleanMotion
We had a bit of free time on the 3rd morning and we took the opportunity to visit the magnificent Lotus temple near greater Kailash 2.

We then drove our green e2o 'NoMo' to DLF "Mall of India", where we met Mr Anil Arora - Country Head India of CleanMotion a Swedish company launching stylish e-Autos in NCR area and eventually have plans to take them pan India.
Their product Zbee is an energy efficient electric vehicle for short distance transportation of up to three people and smaller goods. It looks great at the mall. CleanMotion India have started operations between malls and metro stations. And it was fun interacting with Mr Anil, who is selling these e-Autos in places like Raipur, Rajasthan etc.
The ZeeBee is currently imported from Sweden and it costs Rs 6-7 Lakhs and is extremely overpowered for Indian conditions with a 4kw motor and a large battery pack. Mr Anil and his team are working on a Indianized e-Auto which will look similar to the ones we see now and will cost around Rs 3.5 Lakh.

Day 4 - Visiting URV Enterprises and organising the EV community/Industry meetup
Day 4 started with me picking up Farah at Greater Kailash 2, from my guest house at JNU.
We had an appointment with URV Enterprises, a company that is working on some disruptive EV products.
They will be launching e-Bike kits, e-Rickshaws, e-Scooters in the coming months.
We tried the prototype e-Bike with the URV SmartPie+ kit on it. The e-Bike has incredible torque. What we loved about the kit is the integrated motor and controller with power rating between 200 and 1200 Watts.
We also loved the URV Newton e-Scooter which can have a top speed of 60 kmph.
Mr Varun Das founder of URV Enterprises, spoke to us in detail on the work he is doing. We will upload the interview of him on our YouTube channel.

We at PlugInIndia organise meetups between Industry and community. It gives an opportunity for companies to showcase their products to members of the EV community and the industry gets critical feedback from the community. This helps everyone.
This time we invited the wonderful people from the Delhi NCR community to participate along with key EV companies like - Mahindra Electric, Hero Electric and Okinawa Scooters.
We set the location at Aravalli Biodiversity Park, Gurgaon. The community members had fun trying out the Mahindra e2o Plus electric car, Hero Electric Optima Li-Ion and Okinawa Ridge e-Scooter.
We were very impressed by Okinawa Ridge. It is a VRLA battery, and the company does not believe in scooters with top speed of 25 kmph. The ridge goes upto 60 kmph. Okinawa has plans to launch a Li-Ion based flavor too in the coming months.
They are sending a scooter to Mumbai for PlugInIndia to do a detailed review. Very cool!
All in all a great event with lots of networking and bonding.
