We love the PURE LITHUM Battery!
The 120 km range delivered by the Neo, did not surpise us as we were aware of the battery engineering work being done by the PURE EV team. Also we had already converted a Lead Acid Okinawa Praise to Lithium Ion and used this battery and got incredible range numbers.
This battery shared by two models - the eTrance NEO and the ePluto 7G is awesome. If only they could find a way to fit it nicely to offer great boot space!

This battery pack is a Lithium Nickel Manganese Cobalt Oxide (NMC) based battery pack that offers an energy density of 2.5 kWh. This would consumer 2.5 units of electricity to go 120 km, which is extremely efficient.

This battery pack is manufactured by the PURE EV team at their factory in Hyderabad. The battery pack contains, the battery management system (BMS) which has software developed in-house.

Here are the updated BMS features developed by PURE EV RnD team
  • Protection when charging and discharging
  • Algorithms for improved cut off
  • Variable current discharge vs voltage (for delivering speed drop in smoother manner)
  • Better SOC indication
  • Cell temperature and current measurement
  • Thermal Cooling option
    • Which is more advanced compared to Air + Peltier or liquid kind.
    • PURE EV has made strategic tie-ups with companies like GE, Dow Chemicals, 3M, and R&D labs like CECRI and ARCI to develop this state-of-art active thermal management system
Upcoming BMS features
  • Reading and computing state-of-charge and state-of-health
  • Voltage monitoring of individual cells

Final Words
We believe at around Rs 80,000 the PURE EV eTrance NEO Electric Scooter will offer incredible value for the range of over 100 km. We will be doing a detailed test of the vehicle, its performance and more. This will be linked here.

I purchased E trans neo 2 months before, its top speed max 55km/hour. height is low. If drive slow also scooter stand is touching in rural humps. Battery indicate shows in 6 bars, not in percentage. If battery indicator as showing percentage, helpful to travel
